Donations can be made to cover all or a portion of your carbon footprint. The current donation amount to support 1 metric ton of CO2 per year is $20, with $17 going to the landowner in the form of a grant and $3 supporting the administration and public outreach mission of TCX.
Our goal is to develop a system where the public can support actual carbon storage capacity based on an accurate inventory. Therefore, we only accept donations for the amount of carbon storage capacity per year provided by landowners participating in our program. You can see our current inventory on our homepage.
